Dave is the founding member of the group, and has been performing for the past 12 years in various clubs from Fresno to Bass Lake. Originally from the Southern California area, he started playing professionally in 1975, and he played in clubs up and down the coast.
In 79' Dave won first place in the coveted Ventura County "Battle of the Bands". During the 80's he wrote and played music for commercials and radio jingles. In the early 90's Dave continued writing and arranging, including an original show for his band "Fat Chance" which opened for the "Average White Band" and "Tower of Power" at the historic Ventura Theatre.
Dave has been in the Coarsegold area for 15 years now and has spent the last 12 years playing music at the Blue Heron Lounge creating his own sound of acoustic and electric music.
Now with his vocal and guitar stylings, Dave and the band enjoy creating a fun and danceable enviroment for thier audience and has become a local "Club Favorite".
Budd Solaegui
Keyboard, Harmonica, Background Vocals, Programing
Budd is the co-arranger for the group and he provides layers of sound and groove. He started playing piano when he was a child and has played music all of his life. Budd has played with various bands since the late 60's, playing harmonica, rock guitar, and drums in Afro/Haitian dance classes, Latin bands and Soul bands.
After playing piano locally for years, Budd joined the Henderson Project and has been with the band for 9 years. Budd plays the keyboard with all of its variations and blows a mean harmonica on blues and southern rock tunes.
Barry Moffet
Guitars, Vocals
Barry Moffett from Ojai Ca. has been playing with Dave for the last 25 years. He was part of the "Fat Chance" group with Dave, that opened for "Tower of Power" and "The Average White Band" at the historical Ventura Theatre.
Barry has been playing with the group "National Cats" lately in the Southern Calif. area, but sits in with the Henderson Project when dates allow. Bringing his guitar stylings of lead and slide guitar to the band. He is also a very accomplished acoustic guitar player and song writer and is a pleasure to have, when we can get him.
